The Parksite police, investigating the murder of the 67-year-old eunuch, have not ruled out the involvement of someone from within the community. When Asha Ansar, alias Gopiamma, was murdered on Friday, her followers alleged that a builder, who was at loggerheads with Ansar over a plot of land in
Mulund, was behind the murder.

Deputy commissioner of police, (Zone 7) S Shintre said, " We are investigating if someone from the community is behind the murder for some personal reason. We are also checking if the builder is involved. Investigations are on and it would be too early to come to any conclusion."
