Quote from: Simone V on December 09, 2010, 05:13:19 AMOh my god I am just thinking about the plucking and...   Well it's for the best outcome I suppose but if it's anything like pulling a nose hair which I am sure some of the older ladies have experienced.

Plucking isn't bad at all, unless, as has been pointed out, you're doing nose hairs.

Tip:  If your chest/abdomen is hairy, don't waste time trying to shave it.  Get it WAXED!  Seriously.  I went for a salon wax last weekend, they did my back, chest and abdomen, and it was to DIE for.  Nothing like Steve Carrell in "The 40-year-old Virgin" (he's a weenie).  And for arms and legs (but not underarms) nothing beats an epilator.

Looking at you Eukarya your face has alot of promise looking at it there is nothing male about any of your bone structure your forehead is feminine and your jaw is small and unpronounced. I can see why you have a problem with your upper shoulders but it's really not that bad but if you can't come to terms with it you can change it. (I've heard of transwomen corseting to alter that not to mention the slimming upper body effect HRT will have on you so you shouldn't think that situation is hopeless. You have your youth and I think you will do exceedingly well :)

I've heard of corset training and I've been looking into it not only for a figure but also to help with my posture. but you say ti can help my shoulders as well? does it compress the ribcage thus bringing the shoulders in? I don't really see how it can affect my upper body haha.

It IS possible to alter bone structure with a corset. But any modification coming from that will endanger your health.

(I originally made a new topic for this in the "just for us" section but then decided I didn't care if anyone I know saw.  I also thought its better not to clutter so i deleted it and added it here)

Ok so I finally got around to getting my eyebrows waxed and shaped. I also went thrifting for 20 minutes before goodwill closed and grabbed a couple of tops :p

anyway the wigs the same but i threw in a couple with my natural hair at the end for good measure. I also tried to get more angles.

I kinda wanna know if at first glance you'd automatically assume I was a girl. although i feel its the opposite.

What I'm trying to do is get to a passing point so i can try a public experience, and I know I dont pass, but I cant figure out why. so once again all feedback is welcome!

You're adorable  :)
I'm not a big fan of the last outfit, but I like the other two.  My only advice would be to be careful with makeup.  In my personal opinion, most girls look better with a "less is more" approach.  It's amazing what some good foundation and a little eyeliner can do!
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

aw thank you!

I dont think im a fan of that outfit either, all those pics look off to me as well. but yeah I let the girf do the makeup again and she did it like she does hers, which is heavy eye stuff. im thinking its not so great for me though>.<

Looking at you first glance no it wouldn't, but that's not a criticism, Really you've only just started out, what makes me think no is your fat distribution, and beard shadow a certain flatness around the face.

Your dress sense is decent unassuming and not exhibitionist :)

Many of the very pretty women on our forum here didn't look female at all prior to there transition and hormone treatment, I think you have an excellent starting position and will end up like one of them and much better than I look :) don't worry I will be envying you soon enough.

Let me start by saying you are quite adorable and I think your natural hair is better then the wig.  In fact I think you should head to a stylist because you have the volume to start going natural.

Makeup I agree that less maybe more in your case.  You have high cheekbones that's a good thing!

The outfits.  Um well it's probably my age but the torn nylons didn't do it for my. You're legs are nice with out them.  The outfits were fab.  You're poses were also fab so frankly GO GIRL!

On a scale of 1 to 10 in the fashion category you get a 8.2

On a scale of 1 to 10 in the posture category you get a 8.9

On a scale of 1 to 10 in the makeup category you get a 8.1

Over all results. 85%
That's a pass in my books!

Hugs Simone.

PS I wish I looked as nice^^

I loved outfit #2 on you.  That looked the best.  Your legs seem pretty muscular for the shorter skirts your wearing.   Perhaps something a little longer and more A-Line.  Also, when you hold your arms in front of you like in picture http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j89/ninjaseikai/IMG_1169.jpg, something doesn't look right.

I also LOVE your natural hair!   I think, honestly, you should toss the wig.  I thought you were balding to or something, but that's definitely not the case! It's got a little Mullet thing going on there, but it isn't too bad.  With your punk-ish style, the hair works very well with it.

Janet_Girl

Not a fan of the torn jeans, but I never was.  Your natural hair looks very good.  The wig looks like, well, a wig.

But you are cute in all of them.

Well, uh, I think your first pictures looked better. I just feel those outfits don't... fit. Especially the torn stuff. Plus, the make-up, I think it may be too much.

But anyway, all of these pictures show again that your starting point is great. Passing is not quite there for now, but it's normal, as you have not started anything at all.

The problem with my natural hair is that its still growing out from the mohawk days. so the only long parts are straight down the middle, with the back being longer giving it the mullet look haha. but I can really cut it since the sides are still so short. i will have to do something though as its probably a factor in why I can get a job. :/

I am thinking now though that I wont be able to get to a "passing" point without HRT

curse my beard as well!

Find a good hairdresser. I'm sure she will be able to fix you something.

hmm I guess it couldn't hurt to try. I might be surprised!
at any rate you reminded me I needed to add feminine haircut to my checklist :p

Nikolai_S

I like your natural hair. With all the colours and texture in it, I bet even when it's short you could get a fantastic cut. Maybe something layered and fun like this: http://www.short-hairstyles.com/zoom/s88.jpg (excuse me if that's a terrible suggestion, I'm not used to thinking of passing in the opposite direction lol).

You look good with the shaped eyebrows, and like I said before, it really helps that you have such a nice chin and overall face shape. One suggestion - might be good to lighten up on the eyeshadow on the outer corners of your eyes. I don't know why, but something about it looks questionable.

i was thinking about getting a pixie cut like that. so maybe that will be my next step hmm.

Lee

I would probably avoid a really short pixie cut.  It can look really good on some people, but shorter hair does tend to be more masculine.
