Hello to everyone, it's so nice to join you...I'm Karen, my friends call me Gypsy because I'm a wee bit of a free spirit. A little about me...

I'm old in years but young at heart, and I refuse to act my age. I'm a non-op TS and live full time now, but I've recently made the decision to have SRS so I can complete the circle. I'll be starting hormones soon and I'm hoping to have my surgery next fall, I've just started getting my ducks in a row.

I'm happily married to an awesome and supportive wife, my wonderful Kat. She's my support group, and she promised to hold my hand and never let go...I'm so lucky to have her.

I am a moderator on another TG support site, in addition watching everything I mod the TS section. It's all a labor of love for me because it allows me a chance to give something back to our community, and I find it to be very rewarding.

The reason I'm here is simple, I want to learn so I can continue to grow. I don't know all of the answers, I don't even know all of the questions, and this seems like a good place to find them. My other site keeps me very busy, but I'll drop in here as often as time allows, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

One other thing, it's my good fortune to have Julie Marie for a friend.

Hi Karen and welcome to Susan's!

Thank you for your introduction.  Please take a second to get familiar with all the forums of the site, review the site rules/TOS, and visit our wiki and reference library which contain plenty of valuable information on trans-related issues.  We welcome you as a new addition of our family and look forward to your participation.  Enjoy your stay!

Hi Karen!  Somehow I missed your intro.  Welcome!  I'm happy you and Kat decided to come here.  As I told her, we have a lot of catching up to do.  It seems at the Island Girls meetings we never get much of a chance to talk.  This should make that easier.

Ah Karen, welcome to the forum!  I was wondering if you had passed this way (aluding to a personal message somewhere else in another part of the ether).

I hope you get a chance to participate here.  It is a very nice forum with a lot of activity.
