So should the hair on my stomach chest back and umm....my bottom  >:( just fall out? None of it is very thick. Or do I have to wax it until it stops growing back?

Also I've read a few times girls saying they have a cycle after being on hormones for a while...what does that mean? I feel a bit silly with these questions but I'm not seeing my dr until the end of Jan...

There are different hormone regimens.  Some include progesterone, and also a monthly break, just like GG's go through.  Some don't.  Not sure what sort of regimen my doc will put me on, I think I'll have to wait months to see the endo, but time will tell.  I'm seeing my GP on Friday and handing him the letter, asking for the referral.  We'll see.

And yeah... I hear you on the buttockal hair... (sigh).  From what I hear, the body hair becomes much finer with HRT, and easier to deal with.  I HOPE SO!!!

As you go along it may come in lighter and lighter.  I did not wish to wait so I shave it.  But it comes back in light.

I take my progesterone for ten days a month.  So I am cycling endocrinologically like any other woman.

If I dont shave will anything happen? The only changes I've noticed are breast growth and mental changes.

Same for me, although it may depend on how much body hair you currently have I think, but I don't know if it will change if you don't shave it or not.

It can change without shaving, because hair goes thru stages of growth.  They do fall out after a fashion.  Then when it regrows in it should be lighter.

This is right.  It does take a long time for the cycle to go by itself though.  I didn't see any change after several months, so I shaved the hairs and they grew back in blonde.

I dont have much but it's always repulsed me. Shaving is never a great experience though. :(

Pretty much just echoing everyone else here - what chest hair you have will likely come back very light colored. I never had more than like 5 hairs, but they all went light color when they came back while after being on hormones for a while. I just plucked the couple I saw and they aren't a problem now.
21 22 and loving life! (yuk. i hate getting old!)

I'm going to pluck them off my chest tonight. Im bored enough lol. Thanks for the info though. I feel a lot better knowing I won't be stuck shaving head to toe forever.

Hi Britney♥Bieber

A long time ago, when I was 30, I had extremely very few hairs, on my chest, which more often than not I just pull out with my fingers, I kid you not.  In addition I had a snails trail (hair) that led from my belly button down to my private parts.  I removed this by just waxing every so often and along the top of my bikini line and I had no hair on my back.  So in all I was extremely lucky.  I'm unable to say how long I had to do this, but I'm sure that I had stopped within two years.  The few hairs on my chest and my snails trail eventually disappeared.  This was mainly due to waxing and my hormones that I was taking at the time.

The hair on my legs I had them waxed professionally when I needed it.  I did try a couple of times to do my legs myself, however it entailed to much mess and was a pain to do.  If I was lazy or I did not have the money, I just wore stockings, however over time the hairs on my legs became extremely fine and fair and I have not touched them in years.  The hairs on my arms received a once in a blue moon wax and they are now extremely fine and fair.

From what you have said I would say you have very few hairs on you, especially if you are going to be able to pluck them out.  I would presume you will be very lucky like me in that department.  Waxing will allow you a lot of freedom in what you can do and over time they will become fine and fair, especially if you are on hormones.

I did try to shave the hairs on my leg once or twice, but again I found it a real pain to do, of course these days there is of course laser treatment to help you out.  However, it will be up to you to decide how to tackle this hairy issue.

Take care and all the best for the future.

Kind regards
Sarah B

I had my chest, tummy and bikini lasered.  One session so far and little regrowth, though I didn't have much in those areas anyway. NO way will I have hairy boobs

The woman who lasers me said one of the reasons she took it up was after having her legs waxed and screaming

You are looking very beautiful, congratulations.

I was never very hairy but did have a spike of dark pubic hair up to my belly button and one day I realised that it had disappeard and my pubic hair was shrinking to a more female style which is very nice.

I think I'm at the same amount of months as you Britney.  What I do for now, is simply wax what I can.  I noticed that my hair did grow back but it took a lonnngggg time and the hair was thinner.
I'll be going for laser in a few months only because I am waiting for the HRT to kick in a little longer in an effort to "help" the laser out.

I can't wax! I just fail so bad! I guess I'll let it fall out or start shaving if I need too.

i'll be able to give you a definite answer in two weeks time, but at the moment it does look like a yes as i get the monthly crankiness, raised body temp, achey boobs and i feel like some evil little pixie is repeatedly kicking me in the lower abdomen.
