I googled for trans support groups, only found one in Cincinnati and Columbus. Farrrrr from me. Anybody know of any groups in youngstown, even a gay/lesbian group who might accept trans? I'm getting desperate, just want to meet some people...it would help alot.  :icon_anger:

Google for Trans Family of Cleveland. My wife and I plan to go this Saturday for the first time. Shoot me an email and I will send details.

I've been told "they're all over the place", however I also can only find Cinni and Columbus groups. Not having a car to get there is an inconvinance. I also live in the same general area as Youngstown. There has to be something closer by. Right?

A group was just started out of mahoning valley pride center down by YSU. Also there are support groups in Akron and Cleveland.

Old topic I know... but don't see the point in creating a new one.

I live in Ashtabula county in North East Ohio, anyone else around?

This response isn't going to be helpful to you, sorry. But, as soon as you're able, follow Manifest Destiny's call. I recently left Geauga County and started my migration west, and it has been nothing but the best for me.

To put it another way, something like 80% of all astronauts in US history have come from Ohio. So, there's something about Ohio that not only makes people want to leave the state, but leave the planet...
