Tonight is the tamale party! (Just try finding a decent tamale in SF/LA today - can't do it). One of the best things about living in a totally multi-cultural atmosphere is that big mix and match deal. Cinco de Mayo is not just for Hispanics anymore. The last few years I've gone out to Roseland to pick them up at our favorite tamale maker there have been just as many Anglos in line as homeboys. Interesting cross-cultural blending.
