Well, last night I made the most awesome spaghetti and meatballs ever    Tonight I made my first attempt at making a pan fried Parmesan breaded chicken... At first I thought it was total fail    But although it didn't come out quite right it is rather tasty like an omelette with a big piece of chicken in it 

Oh, and a baked potato and some black beans that got over cooked and became re-fried beans

Fritos along with soy curls cooked in mushroom broth. And a little bit of redleaf lettuce so I don't feel like I'm just eating a big bowl of beige.

Homemade stuffing that was for a pre-holiday dinner we were unexpectedly unable to attend.  It's a good thing I like my own cooking.

This is the usual order...Base,tomato paste(with garlic paste mixed in),mozzarella,shredded ham,bacon,heaped on with sliced fresh mushrooms(I ask them to heap them on cos they tend to shrink.).

I bought a 15lb turkey and deboned it and have the bones cooking on the stove to make gravy and the turkey in a plastic bag in frig and later i will stuff it and sew it up and cook it..  yepper boneless turkey and stuffing.. especially all the dark meat with no tendons.. yummy

Lol I just eat tofurkey. It tastes fine but looks really silly. I'm gonna make sweet potato pie for a potluck, though.

Well i got a call from a sister to come there with mom on thursday so the turkey is now in the oven all deboned and stffed and the bones are cooked and simmering for gravy so tonite we will have an early thanksgiving. 

This will be my first turkey cooked in the wood cook stove.. I have cooked chickens but not larger turkeys. Then of course its deboned so it will cook easier and most of the meat is on top where the heat is more.. I did lower the rack and put it on firebricks and put the turkey roaster's top, on the bottom part so it will cook slower and more evenly..

Ok the stove got up to 600 but i opened it and turned off the oven so the heat is now going up the chimney.. It then lowered down to 500 degrees and with the top cover its not burning.. So all is well and the 2 yams in the rear get turned over each time i check the stove..

Thanksgiving day marks the 15th or 16th anniversary of my decision to go vegetarian. I was really stoned and the meat ripping and bones popping really creeped me out. xD
