If you're ready to go back to work Vexing, and the area is visualy healthy, then put some barrier cream on it and cover with a gauze, tightly taped. Keep the barrier and tape away from the actual wounds.

Make sure you take spare gauze and tape with you. Perhaps some moist wipes. You can get surgical wipes from the pharmacy. Though baby wipes are just as good. Just remember, social hygine.

Try it out for a few days before you go. Just so you can know what sort of problems to expect.

Mine has gotten better but is still too sensitive to touch it much directly under the hood, and I'm often aware of it rubbing on clothing when I walk or sit, though not necessarily always painfully. Early on I did find a simple solution was to wear an ultrathin pad which helped a lot because it prevented the rubbing on clothing, and kept everything more or less packed in.
Girls rule, boys drool.

Are there any other Suporn graduates here who experienced extreme sensitivity in their clitoris in the second month post-op?
It's becoming a little debilitating, I can feel it even when I walk and it makes sitting and moving around on my butt quite uncomfortable - to the point of pain.
I'm sure this is fairly normal (nerves reconnecting, etc) but I was wondering if anyone had experienced the same thing and if so, how long it lasted (as I'm back to work next week and I'd like this to have stopped).

Hi hun

i sorry i just see this post,
i am in my 2nd month just and a suporn graduate too and i have experienced the sames issues, from my years of reading suporn group posts and things though i think it is just nerve reconnection and yes it is highly uncomfy to me too and that horrible feeling of errection sometimes, well i wake in pain everyday but i do believe it will pass as i have never once found a suporn girl who suffered these problems long term, so yes to cut my long story short i would not worry just time to grit the teeth and play the waiting game and grow to love our new V.

we wanted the best results that just means we have the longest recovery too.....my own opinion to other surgeon patient ofc :)

hope it helped, if not ..sorry

just a theory.....

Could the feeling of erections be something related to having left over testosterone floating around in the body since surgery/stopping anti-androgens?

I haven't stopped anti-androgens, so no.

Just a note to give you a bit of a time frame, as of today I am feeling no pain or discomfort in the clitoral area.  The tightness is gone, but the tissue does still get erect.  Afterall, it is erectile tissue--so I guess that it is just the nature of the beast.  I had to run out an purchase a new coffee maker and, for the first time since the surgery, I was able to maintain a proper gait.  However, I was walking just a bit gingerly as a precaution.  It didn't even affect me while carrying a bag of groceries home.  So hopefully yours will be gone by this time too.  Happy New Year!!!   :)
