Yay for ID changes!

Sent off my paperwork today for gender marker change. Should get it back approved in a couple weeks, then I can go change my ID's.

I found someone to sign off on my name change, and will be seeing them on Monday. So the paperwork for that will get filed later the same day. 🙂 Terrence Porter Daniel ______ or Porter Terrence Daniel  ________. Asked mom which layout she prefers. Format: Porter was one of my mom's choices that I liked. Daniel was my choice. Terrence is the masculinied version of my current name.

So my government ID"s should be changed over completely in roughly a month. Rather stoked.

Congratulations! It must be a really nice feeling to have the correct ID. Don't loose it, and show it to everyone!

I actually freeze in fear when I see police in the street (you must carry your ID always here, you can fo to jail if you don't...and I burned mine years ago and promised myself I won't carry one unless is the correct one) because I feel like a immigrant lol.
I plan to run to them the day I get mine and show them with a grin in my face. Though they'll just think I'm a weirdo.... 😀

meh, two middle names isn't that uncommon. Mom chose one, I chose one, and decided I should keep my current name in the mix since I'll likely still go by it.

so went and filed name change today. ended up costing a lot more then expected . I'll be eating KD for the rest of the year. Anyhow, I was super stoked that the clerk was nice, and didn't act weird at all even though my stated reason that she had to type up for name change was 'change of gender'... ahahaha. She's just like I haven't had to do a name change in forever.
