I absolutely love children... my whole life I've had a burning maternal instinct.  Part of my world totally collapsed the day I found out I was infertile (the test before starting HRT).  But since then, I've come to see how beautiful adoption would be when the day arrives.

I didn't understand children even when I was one... I feel like I sucked at being a kid almost as bad as I sucked at being female, and that's saying something.  I love my animals and some say pets are like surrogate children, but, god I hate being around kids.  Awkward, obnoxious, dependent...

well both but its kinda hard to say.

some kids are sweet but there also alot who is very annoying.
I think kids like 4-7 can be interesting, you can play around like, soccer and so on, unless babies who only can "look cute" but who mostly
dosent look cute with a lot of vomiting and screaming and pooping..
brbrbr.. I dont see why people like babys so much?

dont get me wrong I also like kids, however I think most people are kinda scared of there kids getting close to me,
when most people see a baby they say "oh its cute" when i see one I say "hey rock star hows its going" and the parrents tend to ignore me.

hm.. its hard I dont know if I like or hate them, I do like them in some way, but they also somehow reminds me the fact that there is either a risk of getting pregnant, or the fact that I probebly never gonna be a dad... if it guys they can also remind me I never where born a guy, its pretty depressing..

You know what? I don't like kids. If I know the kid, it's different. Like my roommate's niece, she's awesome. I don't mind them until the age of 7 or 8, when they learn how to talk back. Especially these days. Parents are told now that physical and verbal discipline is the same thing as abuse so these little turds are going around talking ->-bleeped-<- to people twice their size, knowing full-well that they can get away with it. There are sooo many things I see kids getting away with that I, only 15 years ago, would have gotten a verbal beating for.

Anyway, aside from that, I have no clue how to talk to kids. I talk to them either like they're adults or like their ten years younger than they really are, even if they're only 5 and they end up looking at me like I'm a moron.

I like dogs and cats. They don't talk back.
