Another huge step for me, following disclosing my situation with my best friend.

When I say huge... I mean huge, in addition to my various confusions about my gender, I've also dealt with major chronic depression most of my life and have always been outright resistant to seeking out help.

Hopefully this is the first step in not only learning to be happy, but also getting to the bottom of my gender puzzle and seeing if my suspicions about possibly being a mtf transsexual are spot on.

Thanks for all the encouragement from all of you, it went a long long way toward helping me take this step. Will keep everyone posted.

It is the first of many.  But it is probably the most important.  It opens so many doors.

Congratulations! I remember how I felt when I had my first appointment scheduled. Nervous and excited all at the same time.
