Bizarre sensation; connected to female reproduction?

I'm sorry if this may trigger dysphoria, not my intention.

I sometimes have a sensation that is best described as if there's some little creature inside my belly who does backflips and kicks. Seriously, it feels like something flipping and kicking inside of me.
What could it be? Could it be connected to some part of the female reproductory systems (I'm terrible at the facts about that stuff, all I know is that there is a womb, there are ovaries, they make you bleed occasionally, when you get older they stop, yadda yadda something babies eggs something)?

I'm not pregnant, I'm a virgin.

Does anyone have any inkling of what the heck this could be? It always scares me when it happens, it feels so bizarre, and I wonder if I'm going mad or if I have somehow become pregnant (bathing in a public pool results in pregnancy, that is a myth, yeah?).

Yes, this is a myth. You can't get pregnant from a public pool. The chemicals used in swimming pools would kill any sperm swimming around in there.

(Disclaimer: However, if you have penetrative sex in a pool, you can still get pregnant)

This.  I get all kinds of tumbly sensations, particularly when fasting.  I don't have a womb or ovaries.  At least, not to my knowledge.

I second it might be gas (or a little Alien baby).  Gas can cause all sorts of strange sensations.

Sometimes during digestion, your intestines have muscular contractions to help move food along the passageway. There are two type of this movements, peristalsis is when the tubes contract and expand and then there is a movement when the whole tubing kind of wiggles around.
Because its inside of you, it may feel really strange and extreme. Doesn't neccessarily mean that its gas or anything like that.
Questions though; is it low in your abdomen or high? I mean, above your hip bones or below.
And also, is there a typical time when it happens? For example, in relation to eating or restroom usage.

It is, I had something like that. I don't know remember the actual term for it. I just had to take some medication before eating.

I also think it's an alien baby. Mater of fact, my boyfriend is currently pregnant with out alien baby twins (long story):'D! Sadly I'm not their biological father. The only aliens I produce are illegal ones ;_;. Oh well, not their fault the facehugger walked out on them, I'll just take it's place as daddy # 2 :'D.

Seriously though, just sounds like nasty gas. I'm lactose intolerant, so I am very familiar to that @_@... I recommend you take an anti-gas meds if it's too bad. You're lucky you're not getting hospitalized like me xD.

Oddly enough, I often get twitches in my lower abdomen about where my uterus would be. I never think anything of it because I am naturally a very twitchy person.
Gas, alien babies, deep muscle twitches... all equally likely.

Well... This is also embarrassing, but not as much as to warrant me creating an entirely new "WAAHHH I dun' get anatomy, help me!!!" thread.

Anyway. I occasionally feel pain in the ovaries, like when on my period, when I'm not on it. Very weird. Also, my periods are very irregular (could be 10 days with lotsa bleeding, 3 days with almost no bleeding, or none at all), and follow only Murphy's Law.

I started bleeding when I was about 13, and it's gone three years since then.
Is the stuff I describe just normal, or do I have any reason to worry about it?

You can have pain when ovulating; lots of people do.   Since you're so irregular it may be hard to pinpoint if that's it.  As for irregularity; it's one of those things that is annoying but means nothing.  Many healthy people are irregular; or it could be a sign of something wrong.  If you've always been that way, I wouldn't personally worry about it.  You can always see a doctor though, if you can stand it   Now if it start to hurt when you pee, that's definately bad.
