So, I know there are a couple of threads on the LLB binders around but I am interested in the Super Strength Zipper Short Binder and am wondering if anyone has any experience with it...

I was going to be getting top surgery in May but I have had to put it off for various personal reasons... so I am now looking for something to bind with that feels a bit more bearable than my current situation of doubling up an extra small Underworks 997 and holding it in place with safety pins. I am about a C cup I think... and about average size build. I'm not on T or anything and so my chest hasn't got any smaller or less dense. Basically I just want a binding solution that will not have me constantly fussing with my t shirts and so forth. I guess having got so close to surgery and now having to look into this again ... I feel like its important to have something that will be both effective and comfy. Any help much appreciated.

Well ...  I went ahead and ordered this above binder anyway, I ordered a small and got an email from the company saying that that particular binder ran in very small sizes and was only recommended for those with very small chests. To be honest I probably measured for a M-L but I am a fan of disregarding measurements and just going for the smallest option - a strategy which has worked for me with Underworks at least. Anyway, I changed to a medium seeing as I figure it must be tiny for them to have personally emailed me about it. I will let you guys know how it turns out.

Good luck with it Sylvan. Sorry you had to put off your surgery :( I hope that one works out for you. I've always stuck with underworks because I usually only have enough cash that I can't risk it not working out.

I got my Les Love Boat in the mail this morning and, after avoiding my parents interested questions about my overseas parcel, opened it up and tried it on. My first thoughts were that I should have stuck with my original plan an ordered a small. The binder is way silkier and more quality looking than Underworks but for someone who is used to the strength and restrictive feeling of those binders this felt kind of like comfy sports bra. The hard padding at the front is good - its just reinforced rather than being bulky - but the zip seems like it will undo itself if I moved around heaps. Anyway, in terms of effectiveness I would say it doesn't do nearly as good a job as my Underworks binder... though maybe I would be more pleased with it if I got the smaller size. I wouldn't wear this binder on its own without some other reinforcement. In fact I am now wearing my Underworks with this over the top which seems OK...maybe a bit bulky. Basically I  have come to conclusion that the only way to get flat is to get binders that are way too small and force yourself into them, there is no specific design of binder that is going to be really effective its just tighter compression that works. Ah well.
