In comparison to the SNL sketch and the Craig Ferguson half sister fiasco, this seems timid, but still rankled.  And was insipid and stupid.

But the point of good advertising is to have the people who view your advert actually "know" what it is you are selling!

I had no idea what LivingSocial.com actually was.  I had to go to the website to find out that it wasn't a dating site, or a social site (despite the name), but a stupid coupon site.

Yeah they caught my eye, through shock value, but they hardly got their point across.  I suspect that we may not see that commercial again soon.  I hope.

Perhaps Timothy Hutton and this guy could get together and discuss stupid career moves over lunch with the coupons they have from their sponsors.

I did not fine this one as offensive as the others.  It is was not the best, but it is not the worse ether.

I agree with Sandy in that I see many ads and they don't even tell you what they are selling. I still don't know what the heck GoDaddy.com is. I figure it probably isn't anything I need.

As to offense, this one was not that bad, a bit taseteless perhaps.
