Transpeople have a whole different set of issues which arise (though if you're homosexual then you get to have both! lucky you!) in their relationships and i'm really having a hard time trying to generate concern with marriage and/or property rights when i'm still not permitted to use the proper restroom. the fact of the matter is that for the bulk of straight transpeople the homosexual political lobby is extraordinarily inefficient.

it would be ideal for transpeople to have a political lobby specifically devoted to our issues but unless one of us wins the lottery, patents nanotube technology, mentally possess Bill Gates or inherits hundreds of millions of dollars it's not likely to happen anytime soon, so we make the best of it.
