Yeah you might be thinking (assuming you've been to the area) Joplin, Missouri punk heyday... yeah right.

Big Bad Chubba in particular was huge and used to open up for anyone and everyone, although I preferred Hubcap as far as local past ska acts go)
I highly recommend pretty much all the downloads, although if only going with a couple my two favorites would be The U.$.M.C. release and the Sodomites release... The Sodomites remain, many years later my favorite local punk act of them all.
