What do you think I should make of this? I sent an email, and he responded with  "Thank you, Sir I recieved it!"

tell him not to call you sir. if you're presenting yourself as female, he shouldn't do that. i don't see how he could be gay, but it doesn't really matter. he should call you the gender pronouns that you identify with.
