My wife and I love to shop the local thrift stores. We decided to stop at one yesterday. As we entered the store, I immediately spotted a sweater on a rack , not far from the check-out counter. My wife went one direction and I headed for the sweater. I noticed two ladies at the counter talking to each other. As I was looking over the sweater and the other items on the rack . I hear one lady say, " Oh isn't he cute." Then the other says ," is that a female?" They said loud enough for not only me to hear but anyone else that was near. I thought how inconsiderate of these ignorant people . I mean, they were talking as if I wasn't a person. More like I was some sort of Circus side-show.  I was ready to leave then one of the ladies said, "Is that a Terrier?". I looked over at the ladies and they had there noses buried deep into a stack of photographs of dogs. They didn't even notice me.

My wife and I had quite a laugh over this.

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

After the public saw transsexuals being nothing more than a punchline to a joke I imagine we will get this kind of crap more often now. Thanks CBS and NBC and you other pricks.

I don't know about that.  I think people will keep talking about dogs at about the same frequency.

Yeah, because before SNL did that Transsexuals were respected, loved and no one ever talked or joked about them.

Lol Roxy! I've done things similar to this before. I overheard some conversation and think all eyes are on me and then I realize people don't even notice. I wonder if that will ever go away?

Roxy, that is one of the better "outing-not-outing" stories I have ever heard!

I was getting my shackles up as I was reading it, because I think everyone has had things like this happen.  And then when you hit the punch line I about blew coffee out my nose!

Please tell me that this is a true story.  It is just too funny!

Thanks!

Didn't Napoleon Bonaparte complain about 'talking dogs'?   Oh! "talking about dogs"!  Those people are talking dogs, let them bark!
