That's really great news, Ashley.  And that's allot for one school. I am glad you will have good company to hang around with. It sure does feel good to know we are not alone., doesn't it.

When I was in school I had one friend that wore girls panties to school , but he never was clear on why he did. Other then that I had never met someone trans until I came to Susan's.

  Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Roxy

Back in the 60's and 70's it was agreed that the incidence of GII (GID) in western countries was 1:100,000 for MTF. Now, as the medical community has discover that GII is a biological-based medical condition rather than a "life style choice," and since ther is more acceptance in society than before, the estimates are 1:10,000 to 1:30,000 for FMT. The numbers varie fomr country to country. In Singapore for example the rate for FTM iis about 1:3,000. There seems to be 3:1 or 5:1 ratio of MTF to FTM. Interestingly, in Poland the MTF and FMT is 1:1 probably reflecting the genetics of this trait.

I'm pretty certain that there were a few people at my school who, at least leaned toward transgender.

But given that was the 60s, like me, they no doubt, just kept quiet.

Eh, but just like David Bowie blurred genderlines so do Metrosexuals, manscaping, etc
Our biograhies are our own and we need to accept our own diversity without being ashamed that we're somehow not trans enough.
