Susan's Place's own JERICA is going to have GRS/SRS with Dr. Marci Bowers in just 10 days!Yeah, I believe she REALLY is! So, I'm working today ... thinking about my upcoming appointment with my new gender therapist ... and then realize that Jerica is having her surgery the day after my appointment. DANG!
So, unless I'm mistaken, JERICA is scheduled to have GRS/SRS with Dr. Marci Bowers on 15 March 2011 and today is 5 March 2011. AWESOME!
Well, why not offer your thoughts about her surgery and best wishes to JERICA at "T minues 10 days" and give her your moral support? She deserves it. We all know how popular she is here and rightly so. Say something to her from your heart. She'll really appreciate it. She's young enough to be my daughter and I'd be way proud of her if she was. So, why do I say this? Her real parents are very devoutly religious and have moreorless rejected her. Like, I'm floored. Sorry, folks, but I just can't march to the tune of any god that would require me to hate and reject my own kid ... especially a kid as sweet, smart and nice as JERICA.
Will her folks even be there for her SRS/GRS? Frankly, I doubt it. Hey, heck with that! Surely, she'll feel bad about that, so may we offer her our kind and sincere words and well wishes to make up for the lack of parental support she faces? Absolutely!

You see, she and I started HRT within 2 weeks (Yep, a mere 14 days) of one another with her starting first. Dang, I won't be fulltime until 1 April 2011 and she'll be fully female by then! Rock the house, girl ... rock the house! We wish you well!
