LinkA subcommittee of the Nova Scotia Teachers Union is sending out an anonymous survey to 2,000 randomly selected members to get a better handle on how many lesbian and gay teachers are in the system, whether they're out and what kind of supports exist for them.
The union's ad hoc lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, two-spirited, transsexual, intersexual or questioning — LBGTTTIQ — committee began sending out the surveys earlier this month.
