I plan to talk to my therapist about this next appointment, but I don't see her for almost a week and I'm pretty bummed out/upset.

I keep having this reoccuring dream ( 3 nights in the past week ) thats extremely vividly sexual in nature.

The problem is that the sexual acts are those that would be done to a female....but on me. Pretty much it's lesbian sex between me and this older woman at work that I have the hotts for. I don't want to be too graphic but in this dream I immensely enjoy my chest (sigh) being touched and being penetrated. I literally feel like I am going to puke after writing that word because it just disgusts me/weirds me out beyond belief. But in my dream I absolutely LOVE it. I also love the woman in the dream saying things to be about how exciting it is to be with a girl. These dreams are so vivid that I get concerned that I moan in my sleep or something....and I can tell I enjoyed the dream based on how my body uhm....reacted.  :embarrassed:

I'm just really confused as to why I would enjoy this dream so much when I feel like it's so wrong. It makes me really nervous to start T. What if I am just confused? Or do you guys think I am overreacting and it is just a dream? Dreams can be nothing, right? Do you think maybe it just keeps coming back because I keep thinking about it? I guess I just need someone to calm my nerves and I don't really have any real life people to talk to about it.

It might just reflect on the fact that currently, these are the genitals you have. It might be the easiest thing for your mind to imagine, but it's not necessarily what you want for yourself.

You could just be used to seeing yourself that way and that could be old memories coming back. Do you still daydream about yourself that way and not realise it?

Dreams can be weird. I sometimes have sex dreams about guys but I don't like them and it has me feeling weird the rest of the day but they're just dreams. It could be from anything I saw on TV, or on the way to work, or an old thought that got twisted into something else.
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.

Dreams can be disturbing but as JayUnit said, they're only dreams. They're not reality, and so many things can be projected into your dreams that just about anything can happen.

Some say they can control their dreams, but I've never been able to! It'd be kinda cool to be able to just say, ok I'm dreaming about this as you're falling asleep and then you do! But on the other hand I guess it would be like anything else in life where if you get everything you ask for it gets really boring. If every dream was a good dream then it wouldn't feel as good as when you only have the random really good one.

Also, I personally think therapists read a little too much into dreams. I do agree that dreams have the ability to "tell" you things or they can be ways your subconscious can tackle a problem in a different way and your conscious mind can then try to interpret it. But I don't think there's set definitions for certain dream topics meaning certain things. I think it's very personalized.
