Hmmm. Don't know if anyone has had this happen but about three times over the past two months I've simply forgotten to take my HRT. I never missed two days in a row and never doubled up either. Do you think this will have a negative effect or is it pretty insignificant? The only thing the pharmacist said was not to double up when that happens but to just continue as normal.

Hi Britney

Yes, I've forgotten on occasion also and no, it didn't really make a difference... Yes, your pharmacist is absolutely right... Never double up and just continue with your regular dosing as normal  :)
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

You're going to be just fine.

I have done that myself.  Usually it is just one day.  There was a time that I was off them for a week.  Delivery problems.  But there was no adverse effects.  You should be fine.

Hmm you only forgot about three times in 2 months? I probably forget at least 3 times a month... ;)

Still I feel no difference and from experience I can tell there isn't really a negative impact. Forgetting the pills every now and then may probably cause your estrogen levels to not be continously steady but genetic girls have their hormone levels fluctuating naturally depending on the phase of the menstrual cycle.

My problem was, I'm pretty much a zombie in the morning until a get some coffee in me and have had some time to wake up. So I would sometimes be sitting there eating breakfast and not be able to remember if I'd already taken my medication within the last hour that I'd been awake. XD I just bought one of those daily pill organizers and problem solved. :D
