I already posted... but figured I should probably introduce myself properly.

Hi, I'm Asher, or Ash for short (but I always get those darned pokemon associations)

I'm 23, and just recently gave up trying to pretend I was a girl ;)
I've felt like a guy all my life, but I guess I must be pretty dense, because up till a few months ago I just thought "well hey, maybe no one feels EXACTLY like the sex they're born with, it could be totally 'normal' to feel this wrong in my body..."
Art school woke me up.
So I came here to get a little more comfortable I guess, meet some people and find some local resources to get started :)

So aside from that, I suppose the art school drop there says one other thing about me. My main interests revolve around art. I'm a professional illustrator, just graduated from school a little over a year ago, and have since been working on a video game project and a couple comic projects. But other than my day job/obsession/thing-that's-taken-over-my-life, I love music, movies (horror is my favorite!), cartoons, books/stories, comics, games (but not a HUGE gamer) and... I guess that's about it.

So greetings everyone!

Welcome buddy, that's some badass art you have there, I'm jealous. You say you're working on a video game project? Do you code as well? Or are you doing the graphics part? Either way that's sweet. I suck at art but I still tried to make a couple of comics back when I was about 13/14 but gave that up, but I still do minor graphic design for websites and Flash stuff hahah.
The story is the same, I've just personalized the name.

Hey thanks Jay! Yep! I don't do any coding myself no. I work with another guy who's doing all the coding/gameplay/engine building and such. I just do the graphics for it, 2D sprites and such. Graphic design stuff is pretty sweet though, I wish I could do it a lot more successfully than I do haha. It's always a plus to art directors, so good stuff to know.
