College bathroom hits the spot for community

With that in mind: consider going to the bathroom. For most of us, there's no stress involved. But, for many transgender people, this presents a huge problem. Jeanine says when a transgender man or woman goes into a bathroom they are automatically afraid that their peers won't accept them. But, if they go into the other bathroom, they are not legally allowed to be here.
"It's a big deal for transgender people," adds Jeanine. "But in the big picture it's just about people going to the bathroom."
