I have my first Endo appointment this afternoon at 2!  Hooray!!!   :laugh: :laugh: ;D ;D 😀 😀 <insert dancing jig emoticon/>

I have the HRT letter from my therapist (first obtained Nov 30 last year), my GID diagnosis from CAMH ( just received last week), and the results from the initial blood work.  I am HOPING he will write an initial scrip today!  I will discuss options with him (Suprefact vs. Spiro, pills vs. patch).  I'm almost giddy - it hardly seems possible the day has arrived!  I have waited SO patiently and SO long.  Now it's MY turn!  Yay!!

Colleen I am so happy for you, this day at last! You have been amazingly patient. I will be hoping with you that you get your E today and take the next big step. Good luck hon and don't forget to take pictures or video of you taking your first dose!

Thanks, girls.  Oh, and Melody... you've reminded me, I want to take pictures of various views of me before starting!  And I hadn't thought about recording that first dose, THAT will be something!  Thanks!  Oh, I am SO excited!  I just hope he will write me up something today, I hope I'm not jumping the gun emotionally...

Woohoo!!!!!

   It's an amazing ride, Colleen.... enjoy every moment of it. After about two months of HRT, I was hit with the overwhelming realization that I was doing the right thing. I hope it's as wonderful for you.

Just got back, and I have in my hot little hand a prescription for Suprefact, Estrogen and Progesterone!  In a moment I'll be on my way to the drugstore to fill it.  Wow!  What a fabulous birthday present.  I am C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-I-N-G tonight!!!  ;D :laugh:;D :laugh:;D :laugh:;D :laugh:;D :laugh:

Well, you asked... First dose of E (progesterone has to wait until 2 hours after meal, E take with food, Suprefact won't be in until tomorrow...):

Dunno, it says "Prometrium" on the label.

As I understand, Prometrium is micronized P- I take the generic version of Prometrium called Microgest
