Green takes us to a Latino family in the Bronx and shows us all of their flaws, all of their tension, and all of their love. Each character plays a dynamic role taking us further down the road to acceptance; and if you're willing to leave every preconception behind you are guaranteed to embark on an eye opening journey.

We are introduced to Enrique, played by Esai Morales, as he is being released from prison. As he returns home to his wife and child he realizes home is not quite as he had left it. Not only has his wife had an intimate affair while he was locked away but his one and only son is living as a transsexual. We follow Enrique as he fights to come to terms with the fact that his flesh and blood has not grown up to be the sports-loving son he had expected and hoped for.
