I just want you to know that you're lovely, and I probably would have fallen on my face far more often over the past few months if not for all of you.

Sometimes it's hard, like when I get confused about terminology, and when I notice people aren't around so much any more. Sometimes I feel like I rub people the wrong way a little, but on the whole I really like you.

Yes, I'm talking to you.  ;)

Thank you
Love, Emma

Emma:

Hon, what posts of yours I've found and read here at Susan's Place I REALLY enjoy and TRULY appreciate.  That's the plain truth.  I'm very glad you are here.  Dig that hippie vibe you mentioned in one of your posts on another thread.  Generally, that's my way of thinking too.

Hugs!

The door swings both ways, you have been a help to others, me included, so a big Mahalo (thank you), I have not come out yet so you give me strength to know I might be able to do that one day.
You are part of a special breed and it is us that makes the difference in not only our lives but others as well.

;D I can never find the hug smiley either!!

"Reach out your hand if your cup be empty,
If your cup is full may it be again,
Let it be known there is a fountain,
That was not made by the hands of men.

There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone."

I'm such an undeniable flower power hippie in training :)

Wow! did you write that?  I think it is profound and very good, only the select few will understand that.
More, oncore, :)

That is from "Ripple" by Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead. Now that's a sorely missed era--watching them jam live! Now I'm dating myself! Ooops.

I missed the dead almost entirely, being born in 1983. I wish I could have seen them live.

Sophie: I know, right!?
Caith: Thanks, friend!
Jennie: Chrishoney is right, the song is played live in that video, but I think it would be impossible to view with dial up.

Sophie: What on Earth are you talking about?

The term "I know, right!?" is commonly used to both agree with a friend and show excitement  ;)

I totally interpreted it as a positive and friendly phrase myself. I'm not sure how someone could take it any other way...

Your posts have helped me in the past to Emma.  So what goes around comes around as they say.
Love 'Ripple'.  According to an interview I saw on TV a while ago, Garcia wrote it after his father passed away.  Always thought it was a poignant song.
