New job and license!

And the hits keep coming! Went for an interview at a certain popular amusement park in Orlando, Florida and got the job! Yay! Then to cap off the day, went to the department of motor vehicles, spent two hours waiting, but walked out with my new drivers license! Seeing my picture and my new name juxtaposed on a state identification card is very reaffirming and satisfying.

So to recap my week: Was taken for a g-girl by the electrologist on Monday despite 4 days growth of beard and no makeup, celebrated 6 months on HRT Wednesday, name change on Thursday and new job and drivers license on Friday! Also found out a girl I met at a party last weekend has a "huge crush" (my friend's words) on me.  WOW!  This was really a banner week. It seemed like all the struggles of the past 8 months paid off at one time in unbelievable fashion and I am so grateful. I have a grin on my face that won't come off! I wanna lay down and sleep for 3 days. I am emotionally and physically exhausted!

Thanks everyone. I am just starting to realize how exhausted I am. I feel like I have been running at a sprint for 8 months and I have reached some sort of stopping point for now. I need time to reflect and digest. Not much left to do except live my life and have SRS one day.

Janet, should I even get there before you, I don't want to be added to your list. It would break my heart.

@Jessica: Yes, I could, but the mouse does place a limit on how many times I can do that in a year. My son will have first dibs of course! My fellow castmembers warned me that I would become very popular!

@Shelly: I took that very first difficult step into the unknown. You can do the same, but I understand why you haven't yet. Once you do, it will all fall into place very quickly for you.
