First ever Gender Conference What can I expect?

Going to my first conference in albany in two weeks,, anyone been to one? What can I expect? Seems like ervyone says they are fun, but what's it all about really?
I need to go,, I need to get out and do anything to acknowledge me,, just wondering what others have experienced
