Stupid hairs seem darker than they have been. It's frustrating! Well, I go in for my next laser on the 27th. Hurts like a.... something.... but totally worth it, can't wait to see these hairs all zapped again.

The rest of my face is pretty clear, it's just the stupid upper lip!

I know what ya mean!  I was able to get most of my hairs off but yeah, it hurts like hell!!!! Can you get anything to numb the area. They gave me 23% numbing cream and it work out pretty well for me. I went to wash my face afterwards and I couldn't feel the water. I had to look at myself in the mirror to make sure my hands were touching my face. LOL  It still hurts when I use the cream but not as much.
Hope this helps.
Good luck on the upper lip! ;D

yes something we can all hate on :P

i found mine died down over time even when there seemed nothing left, the shadow remained but now is all gone, what was left i initally had electro on but there really was that annoying shadow for ages and had to use good foundation to get through the day

ironically is probably bothers us much more though, i was still called Miss and darling and all those things so it prob if never as visible as we give it credit to

Oh man I remember that upper lip thing! I did a lot of my own electro back then, and I had a dentist who was sympathetic and gave me procaine and syringes to deal with that. I could get all the vicodin I wanted, but I already had a tolerance for it and there are toxicity issues with that stuff, plus it didn't work for the upper lip really.

So I got used to injecting myself up under that upper lip with procaine just like the dentist does when they are going to work on your teeth, and it worked wonderfully. I also used that procaine when I went to my electrologist, and he was able to work a lot faster and get a lot more done, and I didn't feel a bit of it.

Back when I was transitioning laser hair removal was a new thing, and was not working very well. I don't know how it works now, but back then some girls got burned and scarred pretty badly from it. I did needle electro and nothing else.

Yes, this is a cycle. Zap, hairs fall out, then the next set of follicles start growing and start over. It does get less and less though. I really hate it right after, like right now. Just had my previous session on Monday.
and i know that i'm never alone
and i know that my heart is my home
Every missing piece of me
I can find in a melody

I've just spent half an hour with a pair of tweezers and a magnifying mirror removing all the red-brown ones the laser doesn't get. Ouch City!  Should last for a few days.

I had a really heavy upper lip zap om March 29. Hurt like beejez. She was going to do two runs but I couldn't take the second. Looking today most of the upper lip has gone (hair that is ) . Got a few patches left hope to clear them in the next session. Chest and boobies are now hairless as is my tummy and bikini. Wondering what to get done next. I don't think either of us are too keen to laser the growths.

I agree, I've had five sessions now and it's still the upper  lip that shows through.  Funny thing was that I never really got much hair on the upper lip.  I think maybe it's thinner and a little bit lighter.

I never thought the pain was too bad until my forth session - I think it was set to 26 of whatever the unit is and it definitely smarts now!

I have an appointment for my legs next week, she did the test patch the other day, and even that hurt!

Totally worth it though.

Siobhan.
