I'm not transsexual. An odd sentence to start off a post titled "Why I think God made me transsexual" – but I believe I fit into a rare classification of people, and that it has all been part of my spiritual and personal journey.
After years of occasionally thinking "I think I'd rather be a girl," or wanting to wear a black antiquated dress, or just feeling like expressing femininity would be more satisfying, I came to the conclusion that I was transsexual – born a man with the spirit of a woman. And I believe, for a time, this truly was the case in my life – I was a transsexual, not the pan-gendered person I see myself as now.
