So after two years in California - which were pretty cool, actually, aside from Los Angeles being a rather rude and unfriendly place in general, got back into school and got straight As for two semesters, rebooting my chances of finishing my degree and getting a professional career - my significant other and I are moving to Minnesota to be nearer to her mother as she undergoes cancer treatment. I'm transfering to one of two schools in the Twin Cities (just waiting to find out which) and will be finishing my last two undergrad years there.
What's life like in Minnesota for transgender women - particularly in the Twin Cities? How's the acceptance, employment opportunities, housing opportunities, etc? And is there any sort of Planned Parenthood-esque Free Hormone Prescription program in the Twin Cities, like there is out here?
