Happy Mums to you all.

You may like this. I went work and was talking to my friend and colleague. Her daughter was 1 yr old last Monday, and the first day she brought her home was Mothers Day last year. This year Dad decided to go and play golf at 7.40am on Mothers Day.  I got the distinct impression that there will be a three month enforced  anti-contraception period  which will not involve hormones or condoms; just anger. Whoops I think he made a mistake

I watched my neighbor across the street loading up his golf clubs yesterday morning, CJ. Unbelievable. What can they be thinking!

I myself had a wonderful day yesterday. I hope everyone else did, too.

We had a fantastic time. The flowers were remarkable, the food good and the vendors fun!

I bought a bamboo flute, that took a while to pick. Each had a different tone and texture. I finally found one that fit my hand and lip. "No bag thanks!" I wandered the park playing some classical works and enjoying the sun. You know, one day I'll have to learn to read music  :)

I went to work, called my mom and had a nice day in general. I typically make a point to ignore mother/fathers day, mainly because the ability to become one was taken from be without my consent before birth, and secondly can't say I've ever had a day where I was glad I was born.

The whole transition thing was to make it more bearable so I stopped being so self destructive/suicidal and could ignore my fate at times; not go around like a goddamn toon whistling at life like people think we should.  :P

I just wish I had the talent to make music :embarrassed:
