Darn, I didn't receive my copy of the agenda.  How can I stay on the "Our way or the highway" line of thinking (actually, non-thinking) if I don't get an agenda.  Oh, wait a minute.  I think for myself, so I don't need some one's agenda to function, unlike the "your business is our business" fanatics infecting society.  By the way, what an enlightened father she has.

Why so upset?

This situation is unusual, but not all that unique. When I lived in CO, I was dating a gal whose extended family included a little latina gal. Nobody in her family ever treated her as anything but who she was from the getgo. They started her on HRT "very" early, so she was a tiny lil thing, and cute as hell. I moved a while ago, but she was situated for surgery when she hit 18, which would be about now.

I worked with another gal whose parents sent her to Trinidad when she turned 18. Last I heard, she was living with her BF.

So, this is in the news, because it is viewed as sensational. But, the truth of the matter is that there are some really cool parents out there. We just usually hear about the uncool ones?
