In spite of having a bisexual history that includes having both long term sexual relationships and long term friendships with members of both sexes that would be indicative of being bisexual in deed as well as identity I choose to embrace the label of Lesbian and not bisexual.

More specifically Lesbian Feminist.

Woman identified woman.

Dyke...

My opting for the label of lesbian over bisexual has nothing to do with biphobia and everything to do with my commitment to feminism.  As the old saying goes, "Feminism is the theory and lesbianism is the practice."
