Hello there! My friend/roommate/quasi-relationship/person (Rainy Day Parade) who frequents the chat room on this website recommended that I check it out, so I figured I may as well.

My name's Sarah Katelyn and I'm a twenty-year-old MTF transsexual. I've been sorta-kinda out of the closet since my junior year of high school, but I'm still living as a male due to a lack of parental support/general cluelessness/depression. I've just barely re-entered therapy to help deal with my transsexuality and hopefully will actually begin making changes in my life soon. I spent my first year of school in Montreal, then moved back home to attend school closer to where I grew up.  I now live in the Burlington area of Vermont, and I'm attending school at the University of Vermont where I'm studying math, philosophy, and music. I'm a huge audiophile and I also play the drum kit. I'm also a huge aelurophile and have a wonderful cat named Pallas Athena.

I am generally a pretty okay person to be around!

Oooh, Alburg? How're they dealing with all of the flooding that the lake has been going through recently?

Their house is OK, the back of the property is underwater.

My goodness! I was driving up through Grand Isle just the other day to get to the ferry so I could bring a friend home to Plattsburgh, and I was surprised at how high the water was! It was right up against the road at some points, and it was disconcerting to see how much of the area was underwater. And we're forecast to get rain all of this week, too! I'm pretty certain we've set some rainfall records for this area. </digression>
