So, I injected my T the day before I was supposed too.

Im going out of town later today and since I am still fairly new at injecting myself with T, it still makes me rather nervous...therefore, instead of injecting tomorrow like Im supposed to, I injected this morning so I wont have to worry about it in an unfamiliar place. Yeah it was only 24 hours early but Im still a little concerned...

I guess the whole point of this was to lead up to this question: Is it okay that I did it a bit early or was it a horrible idea I should never repeat? I mean, I realize that keeping on track is obviously the better way to go, but if occasionally get thrown off by a day, is it really something I need to stress over ?

Disclaimer: I am in no way a doctor.

Don't even worry about it. Just don't do it all the time. I occasionally do mine a day late and have never had a problem, if it makes you feel any better.

Also not a doctor. I've personally never missed a day. However my endocrinologist has never cautioned me on taking it a day earlier or later. It's just that when you take it earlier, the next time you go to take your shot on time, the testosterone level will be lower. Meaning, I get things like more tired, kind of moody, and such before my next shot, a day or so. So if I were to take it earlier, and do it on time for the next shot, I'd have that for a longer period. But from what I know there's no real issue with doing what you did. It's best for your hormone levels and to keep from fluctuating to much and having those mood swings or other symptoms (if you get them) to do it on time. Again, not a doctor, just basing this on what I've been told by my doctors.

If your still worried just try giving your doctor a call and asking if there is any issue with taking it a day later or earlier. Again I really think theres nothing to worry about, I've heard about people missing it, and I've actually taken it two days in a row before (never missed a day, just screwed up) and there were no issues. Just don't make a habit out of screwing with your hormone levels.

I have never personally missed a shot, but its not a big deal to take it a day early, sometimes I do my shots at midnight on sunday, rather then sunDAY

I know someone who had to go weeks without T at a time, and he was fine, a little moody, and cold, but nothing bad happened.

Haha, I have first hand experience with this. I've gone several months off my T regimen, much to my dismay but the lack of funding and my doctor being a spas. I didn't suffer any real harm, my hormone levels slowly made their way back to the "natural" level of a "female". My body even started redistributing fat in ways I was not comfortable with. I never had mood swings or like without T though, if I missed a day, or a week on accident. I've always been rather poor at keeping track of these things. I know many people that change their schedule to better suit their days, they just start taking it on Thursday instead of Fridays. With no harm.
