Hi y'all,

Just wanted to let you know I had my surgery on May 24 with Dr Suporn,

Yesterday I already had quite some appetite which is unusual I think. I'm doing well and according to the Dr. the surgery went well.

I also had some pain yesterday, but today I feel much better and imagine myself walking out of the hospital :P Can't wait to leave this place cuz I hate it to lay down all the time and not being able to anything. But it's for my own good :)

Greetings from Holland,

Sweetie

Congratulations and I wish you all the best for the future.  It seems you want to get on with your life already by wanting to leave the hospital!

Look after yourself and I'm sure you will have a wonderful life like many of us old timers.

congratulations! :D:D:D:D

gosh my biggest memory of the hospital was the mattress! it was a lot harder than what I'm used to at home! Within an hour of being back in the room after surgery I was asking for a second mattress softener... which didn't really help. I ended up with a bruised tail bone and red rash around it. xP Maybe it helped focus my attention away from the surgery site!
Are you loving the broccoli fruit boxes!? :O~

Congrats to you (and to Paula who was a week ahead of you and an ocean plus a continent away).

How many days until you meet the new 'men' in your life? Talking stents here.

The mattress is really bad! It causes a lot of pain on my back and legs, so I almost forget about the discomofrt in the surgical area. So same here!
My appetite was good the first days, nowadays they bring breakfast at around at 6 AM but I choose to sleep untill around 10 AM, just because the more I sleep the more healing does occur I guess.

Thank you all for the best wishes!

the hospital food is highly questionable :/ I found out after that you can order a burger that is actually a mcdonalds burger. I think I could of at least stomached that compared to some of the blah they served up. I stopped ordering anything around day 3 but they brought me random stuff anyway and the smell turned my stomach >___<
The hotel food is way way waaayyyy better, you've no doubt already had a taste test :P
I miss universal channel! I used to watch House at 11am! And royal pains!!

Totally agree! The hotel food or the food in the restaurants on the street is much much better. I would have better appetite eating that... now I eat very little because of the hospital food.  I don't like the taste of it either and ordered various stuff, none of it I liked. The internet connection is also a lot slower so I cannot watch my favourite TV shows online :P

Just can't wait to be out of the hospital! :P

oh no!!! I opted to stay at the service apartment of Piyavate Hospital after my surgery next month.....now I'm really scared! Might have to eat fried rice for each meal! lol

uh oh! actually not sure if the food will be different, but you could always grab some take away food phone numbers from the clinic and order deliveries in! Also there is a 7/11 near the hospital and a few little food shops also within shuffling distance so if it is yuk then there are alternatives! I think their fried rice was the one that smelt the worst lols >__< someone said after that you can order hamburgers in the hospital that are actual McDonalds burgers I think I could of stomached those out of desperation! xP

Hi Annette

Thanks for your kind message, everything went really quick.
I'm getting better everyday
(I'm not even 3 weeks post op and already had a Tuk Tuk ride over to central Plaza shopping mall which is some 5 kms)
