Criticisms aside, the parents of aptly named little Storm — the baby whose gender is being kept secret — already know what many parents with children exploring gender identity eventually discover.

The kid's going to figure it out. Be supportive.

In his forward to the book Gender Born, Gender Made, Edgardo Menvielle, a doctor and regarded voice on children and gender, writes of a parent meeting for those with "gender nonconformity" kids.
