Feeling beautiful?

How do you feel beautiful, when you dont see yourself that way, or capable of being that way?

I know I am a great person. I am honest, dependable, very hard working, understanding, compassionate, open minded, and intelligent. However, I feel like if I transition, none of that will matter because Ill look like a monster. The worst part is that transitioning will be like a dream come true.

I just want to feel beautiful.....

Feeling beautiful means living up to your definition of beauty. Based on what you said you are, I would say that you're very beautiful, but that's just one person's opinion I guess.

For some people, feeling beautiful involves living without thinking about the physical parameters of your existance - just what makes you yourself. That's how I live, and I can say that I do feel beautiful, at least for most of my hours.  Realistically, that doesn't and probably can't work all the time, but it's a first step.

Having seen the picture you posted, by the way, I would say that I sincerely doubt you will look like a monster. In honesty, I'm guessing most of us - at least myself - feel that we look like monsters pre-transition anyway, and as I've seen, most of us tear ourselves apart unjustly... I think you're a beautiful person, and if transition is your dream come true, then you can follow the dream and, I think, have your body be a beautiful reflection of the beauty you already have.

I felt that way for a bit then realised there are some women in this town who would make Hulk Hogan look good in drag, moustache and all. 
When four of them get into a small car and the suspension bottoms, you realise it's not as hard as you thought. 
I didn't feel so bad after that.

I encourage that you do whatever you need to do, to be comfortable in your own skin.  Letting go of societal dogmas, and being happy with yourself holds the secret to self-perceived beauty.
