As for a movie I hadn't seen before, it was Prometheus.
It may not fit well into the picture with the other Alien franchise movies but I liked it anyway. I liked the misanthropic elements a lot.

Aaaand for a movie I re-watched, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny.
Watched it with my Mom and stepdad. ;D

SAFE with Jason Statham,

only 'cos I think he is gorgeous.

The movie is so bad I reckon it is one of the worse movies I have ever seen.

They totally forgot the plot, literally.

Les Miserables. I can't get the freaking songs out of my head!   :P

Anyway, as a production of Les Miz, yeah.. It's great. Changed some things around, but it was clear it was all to tell the story better, and definitely in a more cinematic way. But not much had to be changed, rest assured. The musical itself is quite cinematic, and needed this.

I LOVED Les Miserables. I can't say I'm a big fan of musicals (we watched it cause our friend came late and we missed the Hobbit) and at first I was like what the heck they're singing every line at each other, but I ended up getting so wrapped up in the emotionally powerful scenes..
Day by day, in every way, I am getting better and better. And so are you!

Does The Big One by Michael Moore count? If it does, i liked it, found it funny and informative, damn corporations lol.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

Christopher Walkin used to be really handsome when he was younger and was a professional dancer before movies. After years of being a vegan his skin pallor has become rather pale and he's skinny. Now he gets a lot of ghouly film parts because of it and has found his niche in the industry.

Huh, he kind of used to look a bit like Scarlett Johansson

You mean like this?

This flick is a dark comedy in which he plays a mob boss.  There's a '70s flashback scene in this movie where he has shoulder length hair.  Pretty funny.  Google image search ain't finding it though...

The Dark Knight Rises - I didn't like it as much as the last two films, but it was still a great movie.

I really don't watch movies very often. I'm not good at using my eyes for stuff. They should make movies that focus more on other sensory input.

The Impossible

It's the true story of a family vacationing in Thailand in 2003 when the tsunami struck. Thousands of people were wiped out in an instant. Yet this one family separated and washed miles inland managed to find each other despite the devastation. I understand that a lot of real life footage was included in the movie so the real reality of their situation would be experienced. It also showed what Iearned when I was in Thailand that the Thai people are very kind and loving people as well.

For a moment I thought I might've referenced a (maybe pervy) real thing. Actually yeah exactly something like that. Maybe just text and  tactile stuff and sound and smells. I'd totally go for that.

Seemingly Christopher Walken is about as blind as a bat and has to wear very thick glasses. His far away expression when acting is due to the fact that he can't see anyone else on the set when he takes his specs off.
