I was reading today, about how Jacob wrestled with God, and would not let Him go until Jacob received a blessing.  Been doing that today.  Wrestling with God.  I know God put me here, because I really should'nt be here.  My parents were using every birth control known to man...and, here I am.  My parents didn't want me, but God did.  So, I have been wrestling with God...You put me here...You put me in this place......so, I must have a purpose.

One blessing is that even though your parents didn't want you the good Lord did.
The scriptures say When my mother and father forsake me the Lord will lift me up.
From what I see many transgender people are forsaken by their parents and friends. It is those times when the good Lord is with those whom believe.
The blessing of being lifted up that many do not see is that eternal life when the good Lord returns and they are quickened and transformed in the twinkling of an eye. Truly a lifting up well worth waiting for. Truly a lifting up that many that have lived easy lives may not experience.
Remember the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. Abraham told the rich man that he has good things in his life and Lazarus had evil. Now Lazarus would be comforted and the rich man would be tormented forever.
Hope this helps.

Kia Ora Mowdan,

::) Look at it this way...Your God wants what you want! In other words what's best for you in the long run...

Those who wrestle with God will get more than those who merely kneel and worship God.  The wrestler  will have personal contact, and not just the fleeting shade of God's shadow that the kneeler will get.

You might though look up what went on with old Elijah in 1 Kings 19:12.  Hint, God makes Himself known to Elijah in either "a still small voice  (KJV) or others (NRSV) that say "in the sound of complete silence". Not a promise of things to come, but a "heads up!"  I've been caught there a time or two.

Those who look for God will see Him, but maybe not as we expect.  Get out and do something for yourself that includes doing something for others.  If you can do something to help someone else, chances are they will see a helpful person and not a "terrible transgendered person". Maybe this is what is wanted, Nah too easy!   When Mother Teresa of India was asked how she could do her work on the often filthy and rag clothed beggars, she pointed to one of them and replied to her questioner "That is our Brother Jesus in distressing disguise!"   Listen even in silence, and do not always believe what your eyes and nose tell you about a person.  You will find out by doing things!!
I refuse to have a war of wits with a half armed opponent!!

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!

We are as God created us. Our challenge is to be true to ourselves.

Born woman mind in a man's body? You are a woman. Do something about it.

Born man mind in a woman's body? You are a man. Do something about it.

Then God will smile, and you will be happy.

Bigots say you're going to hell? Smile and know it is they who will burn.

When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take the step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for us to stand on or we will be taught to fly. — Patrick Overton

I have spent many a day wrestling with God over this.  I felt I got my answer, live as the woman you are.
Nameless here for evermore!;  Merely this, and nothing more;
Tis the wind and nothing more!;  Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore!!"

Once I realised that God isn't the fearsum, impatient creature that is likely to throw a hissy fit, at the drop of a hat I started to get to know him so much better.

I once watched a couple of young kids, losing their cool with each other then those around the. They behaved in that way that only kids do really and which none of us likes to be reminded, was the way we did once.

It occured to me that I and all of us are the way God created us. Flaws and all.

Rather than wrestling with God, I wrestle with myself when I try to tell myself that God has made me the way I am for a reason, and I'm on this planet for a reason as well. I know that God wants me to live as the man that I was born to be
