Hello Lori,

Yeah, nickmame change went well :)
I haven't read your story yet, but definitely going to.

I got one question - to everyone who checked out my case - was the reactions from families/friends/partners negative or positive? If positive, what approach did you took? Telling everything without too much beating around the bush or rather slowly trying to hint the subject?

Hello Aphrodite_Hafiza

My name is Sarah B and I would like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

You mentioned in the Birthday thread the following:

Quote from: Aphrodite_Hafiza on Yesterday at 06:08:16 AMhello everyone im going to be 36 tomorrow

So I would like to take this opportunity to celebrate your birthday and I wish you a merry and a happy birthday.  In addition I wish you many happy birthdays to come!

You also mentioned, what you have down to help you along in your transition, in the following post:

Quote from: Aphrodite_Hafiza on Yesterday at 06:20:04 AMhi everyone i was born male but one day i came across si swimsuit youtube channel and i saw a video of hannah jetter (davis) intimates and something inside me triggered feelings to be like her by first developing breasts, after that i researched how to develop breasts and found an article saying using fennel tea you can safely grow breasts by massaging aslo. After a while i got bored of this and found on ebay herbal safe products that grow breasts fully and hips, bum to hour glass figure, i bought this and im still using it now and getting great results, you can say im like a model but more curvier, breasts need to grow more fuller but everything else is identical to a women and one thing i forgot my eyes look so sexy a small befor i had larger eyes because of taking these natural herbal pills my eyes are beautiful and small similar to a women.

It is good to hear, that you are getting good results.  However there is a limit to how much herbal, medical and other methods that are mentioned on the internet, that will enhance your body.

You do not mention how you are suppressing your testosterone levels and what are your estrogen levels.  Only an endocrinologist or a doctor can tell you what those levels are.  The reason being is you need to ensure you stay healthy.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the Introductions Forum, of course.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new from new members.

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely will discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as some members have experienced these as well.

Please review the links at the end of this message, they include information which will help you navigate the site and use the available features. Hi Rachel!  Yes, I'm OK...

I have been keeping a low profile because there are some things I have said in the past (usually regarding relationships) that I later regret putting out there for the entire world to see.  I need to be better about finding that middle ground.  Somewhere between baring my entire soul (and the souls of those around me) and going radio silent is the right place to be!  ;D

I'm now a little past the 3-month point post-GRS, and I'm very happy with the results.  I had a couple weeks recently where my dilations were pretty difficult, and I had my local doctor take a look last week.  She noted a little more granulation tissue and got after it with some silver nitrate.  I'm doing a lot better now.

One very significant thing in my life is that my ex-wife is about to move out of the house.  There is no animosity on either side, although living together had become a bit toxic.  She is worried to death about the financial side of this, and I am for her as well.  It'll also be a bit of a problem for ME financially, since the $$ I give her in child support won't be coming back to me anymore as "rent / bills".  My oldest wants to stay with me, and my ex isn't going to make her go.  My youngest is fine with the 1 week on / 1 week off setup that is in the divorce decree.  It will definitely be a major life change, and I'm feeling that even though the divorce was final well over a year ago, this is really making it FINAL.

I continue to spend time with the person I mentioned quite a while back as someone who really does a great job of tempering my anxiety.  We're just really good friends, and sometimes that's what you need.  It's not like I can "do" anything right now, anyway!!  ;D

I'm also continuing my therapy with Dr. Torres, and she has been helping a lot with all of the different things going on in my life.  Between GRS, the toxicity in my house leading to Kristin's departure, and navigating the dating scene, she has had her work cut out for her.  I think I'm doing pretty well with everything that is going on, and I don't really feel much of the "transgender self-loathing" anymore.  It's nice.

OK, enough for now --

Its been a busy week getting ready for the big surgery day, now less than 3 weeks. GP for medical clearance. EKG, blood work, etc. I meet with the plastic surgeon on Tuesday. They still haven't told me how much this is going to cost. All I get is the insurance will cover it! I still have a few questions, so I'm looking forward to the meeting.
I've been working hard getting the things I need to get done finished. Baled 15 acres of hay this week. Now my horses have enough for the year. Delivered 200 bales to a neighbor. Finishing the railing on my deck, that I started last fall. Still have to plant the garden. That will be this weekends project and still have some things to get out of my moms barn before the niece has a fit. These next days will fly by. Appointments with my Endo, orthodontists, counseling, doctor, all while trying to finish up a few big jobs the door company has. And of course a few last trail rides on the horses. That's all for now.
