Preface - I am not any sort of social scientist! I can not interpret observations made on these inkblot tests. These are posted for entertainment only. If you give a crazy answer, it's on you. :o

I did these tests as a child when they where trying to find out why I was so unhappy. And, er, flicking ravioli at the dinner lady (she was forcing me to eat it but it made my mouth blister- allergic to tomatos).
I said butterfly to everything because thats what someone on the telly said.
I was thinking vagina the whole time.
Probably could have saved a bit of angst if I had just said it. :laugh:

Inkblot #1 was actually one of the original Rorschach cards from the 1920's.
If you want to interpret #1, quote the original blot post so we know which one you are looking at.
A card with black ink showing an amorphous "splat" shape. This one can be hard to see anything in. Occasionally described as a foreshortened view of a person with their arms outstretched.
Possible Sexual Imagery: The head of the male sex organ (the portion at the top of the card) or alternately, a female sex organ (middle and bottom part of the card).

Uh-oh.
"Some psychologists and psychiatrists feel that tilting the card at an angle is a "bad" response (or at least an "unhealthy" one). Likewise, trying to be a smart-ass and stating that "This is just an ink blot" is considered a very bad response. This is a black and white card, often described as looking like a mask or the face of a fox or wolf.

I see blue and gray crabs (the blue ones with one big green claw, each) attacking primitive red fish. There are yellow parasites in the area, sucking onto the side of the fish.
Green worms and orange flukes are in the vicinity.
I have a terrible case of the itchies now. I hate parasites. What a nightmare. This is why I won't eat raw sushi.

This is the last (of the original) Rorschach card(s) and certainly the most colorful, consisting of blue, gray, pink, green, orange and yellow inks. It's a very complex mish-mash of shapes with lots of "activity" and plenty of places to "see" things.

What happens to you during these tests if you can't answer?, seriously, I remember taking this one in a mental ward and this one was not present (the multi color one - had it been present I would have refused - had he forced the issue they would have had to sedate me.

Another colorful card, this time with orange, pink, and green inks. This one is tough to visualize anything specific in; most test subjects struggle to find something to "see" in it.
Possible Sexual Imagery: Female sex organs, usually seen at the bottom of the card.
This is a tough one.
Good/Common Answers: "Fire, smoke, explosion, map, anatomy, flower."
Bad Answers: "Mushroom cloud on the centre line at top can indicate paranoia. Monsters or men fighting can indicate poor social development."

There are two things I think of when I see this thread. Fallout: New Vegas and Rorschach from the Watchmen.
