Honestly nothing directly with my eyes, but shaping and trimming eyebrows. Feminizing but can plausibly do as a man too.

It's possible to get away with trimming and shaping eyebrows and not be noticed.
That said, I swear JD Vance is wearing eyeliner and mascara evertime I see him!
Shame it isn't the 80's the new romantics were able to wear full on eye makeup and get away with it.

I've started experimenting a little with eyeliner and it does quite a bit to bring out one's eyes. And I've had my eyebrows waxed a few times - actually wanted to get it done today but couldn't get an appointment. I found nicely-shaped eyebrows to be very affirming yet something that no one seems to notice. Eyeliner is more noticeable but less so than eyeshadow.
If you should decide to experiment with eyeshadow, I've found this video to be a good place to start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAvWFVfrXWU

The person I dated before my wife liked the androgynous look so I would let her do eye shadow when we were out together. Subtle though like have her put it pn lightly and then use a cotton ball to do like a light smokey eye.

They can really transform the eyes and you can get them in all sorts of styles and sizes. I've always found the wing flicks to be tricky to pull off but these make it a breeze.

I get my eyebrows done regularly, and have them arched nicely. I asked my esthetician to give them nice feminine arch. I still present as a male, and my brows don't look out of place. I just use mascara, and eyebrow gel as my only makeup, and it doesn't draw attention. MAC makes a nude eyeshadow that matches my skin tone perfectly, but it's never in stock. Clear mascara is a nice option, as is clear eye gloss, too,

@Dawn Kellie:
Dear Kellie:
From my own experience ,regarding makeup and especially eye makeup
is that a little is best, it can be tempting to overdo it so I am
always careful.
I will be eager to read your update.

Quote from: Northern Star Girl on February 12, 2026, 05:25:05 PM @Dawn Kellie:Definitely true this one, the danger of clown face is real! It's so tempting to get carried away with it but less is more. Also eye type matters for styles. Hooded eyes for example, I think it looks better to leave the lower lid out altogether (no liner, no mascara even) and add lifted winglets to the liner as it lifts the eye and reduces the hooded appearance. Other types will require different action.

I do the opposite with my eyes and use a very light almost white powder under my eyebrows and onto the top lid to open it out as my brow bone is big so the eyes look very deep set. The top lid isn't ever visible tbh.
I don't use eyeliner as the lower lids are very wrinkled so hard lines make that worse. I line with an angled brush and eyeshadow right around the bottom of the eye and out into a very soft wing. I then smudge this as the hardness looks awful on mine. Then add either colour or gold/copper glittery just below the dark shadow and blur that all out and slightly past the wing. Very soft and subtle but works OK.
I use mascara on the top lashes though that's difficult without getting on the hoods as there is only 1mm between lashes and the skin hoods above.
It's harder as I can't close my left eye...everything is blurred in my right eye due to problem that was never found until my teens. Now it can't be fixed. Makes detail work very hard. If I lost my left eye I'd be unable to do most jobs or drive!

This is perhaps a silly question but how do you shape your eyebrows from scratch? Any good advice/guides/videos you found helpful or wish you had for your first time?

Like tattooing and dentistry I leave it to the experts and don't do this at home.I go to nail and brow bars. There's one on most high streets in England

For me i sut them short with nail scissors then get in with the tweezers and pluck away.
I did see a decent video on YouTube for trans girls which you find useful though you might want to vary the shape to your desired style:-

I like brow razors particularly as I found hello kitty and kuromi ones! They are fiddly though as you say.
Shaping wise was done as part of my microblading, so I just follow the outline! Going to get electrolysis on the rogue hairs while I'm getting down there done!!
