Urgh I'm super excited and super nervous at the same time. I don't even know what to say, part of me is worried they won't see myself as I have since I was 14 but part of me is more than confident they will see me for who I am. I mean everyone that I'm close to said they knew it way before I came out.
It won't make a difference if I go in "boy" mode though right? This is because I'm coming from college and I kinda am trying to not to out myself before I'm ready to the whole school, even though everyone SHOULD know because of how I act. Regardless; this is all happening because I have the most wonderful friend who was there for me when nobody would be. I can't wait...

Wish you luck for your meeting. Be honest and be youself. Do not try to think of what they want you to say, just say what you want.
As for dressing i would say its not a issue until someone is full time or in the RLT that you need to dress to impress.

Well my friend's car broke down and can't take me now so that's absolutely wonderful... and now I have to find a new ride. Why does the world hate me so much.
I am really hoping everything works out, since there is only 6 hours until my visit, but I highly doubt I'll be able to go. People wonder why I'm a pessimist. I'll let you all know how it goes....

It's over an hour away. However I left my therapist a message and let him know the circumstances and he was completely sympathetic and I am so glad we have someone like him. I rescheduled for Wednesday next week so I can 100% go because I KNOW my cousin doesn't have any classes then!

Actually it's a good test for the therapist. If you go in "boy" mode then the therapist gets merits for doing stuff like asking your preferred name etc. If they don't it's a demerit.
And yes, you should be evaluating them too!!

I'm actually going to see this therapist because of his GLOWING recommendations from the local Trans Support Group. When I SET UP the appointment he asked me if I was MTF or FTM and my preferred name and when he called me about my reschedule he asked "Is this Allison" and not my birth name so he is 100% sympathetic to trans people.
Well I get to see the therapist tomorrow I'm so excited for real guys. I am 100% able to go and this is such a big moment for me. My mom even washed the more feminine coat I have without even knowing I was gonna wash and wear it tomorrow. Gotta shave my legs tomorrow though >>
Yeah, Lots of luck in your trip. There just be honest and yourself and everything will work out the way it is supposed to.

Yeah nailed it; because he gets to know his clients through email before the first session he got to the nitty gritty and long story short; I have my letter just need a job and to find an Endo now. WOOP WOOP.

Needs the money now but the scariest part of all this is now over... I can live my life without having any barriers there preventing me from being happy with myself!
