So here in New Mexico we're getting a pretty big storm. I'm not really happy about it given that was supposed to go travelling this weekend, but the snow is so soothing to me. There is nothing more that I like than snow. The fact that it falls so gently from the sky and lands on the ground without a single complaint. Its sheer freedom as it moves across distances with just a wisp of wind. The playful kiss on the cheek as i walk to my car to go home from work. I love it. Anyways I got sidetracked in my own mind. You now know my love of winter. What's your favorite weather/season and why?
I think fall for me would be better if there were more trees where I live. Here I have dirt and tumbleweeds lol Low bills are always a good thing too!!! haha
Spring, brings hope, and the longest time forward with warm weather. I hate snow and cold. Bring me rain and thunderstorms any day with sunny days to break up the monotony.
Winter!
I love snow and cold! :D
I'm ghostly white and the sun is not my friend. I don't tan, I just burn. I hate heat. I love cold.
I love when everything freezes and the ground crunches under your feet. You have to bounce in place to keep warm. All the trees are bare and the branches form these beautiful, almost fractal-like patterns. Everything is still and quiet. And the gray-blue sky casts a pale sheen on the whites and silvers and makes all the shadows pop! Everything is beautiful in the winter! :)
Nice sunny summer or a crispy and chilly winter. Basically everything else than the sloshy and rainy spring and autumn weathers.
Winter is coming! :D
I'm in Michigan, it's going to be bad...
Summer is coming, and it is going to be HOT!
If the KAT visits I have the clippers ready >:-)
Winter! I love it when it gets down to the 40's (5-10 C)and it starts to drizzle! It's the weather I associate with Christmas! It's perfect when I drive up to San Antonio, when the lights are all lit, the carolers are singing on their boats, and I have a hot latte in one hand and shopping bags in the other! ;D

One of the hardest things I had when I moved from the UK to Australia was getting use to Christmas in summer. I was from Liverpool UK and it would be dark and cold and traditional for Christmas. Here it is hot and we send each other Christmas cards of Kangaroos pulling Santa's sleigh. Weird!

I'll take one of those, and even risk the clippers!
Well each year I have the family around and we encourage each other to bring a friend so that they can 'suffer' with us. You my dear friend are most welcome, as long as you bring a sense of humour, an appetite, love and tolerance.
Yep you pass.
Hugs
Cindy

You sure those are requirements. They are just too easy. Now all I need is a plane ticket.
It's 3 degrees in Blackpool and sunny, no wind.

Heat is normal where I'm from, cold... not so much. We grow oranges and grapefruit; once it gets to freezing we close the expressways (state police know we will kill ourselves on ice) and growers start panicking - sending droves of workers to harvest citrus before a hard freeze.
But any day at 100F doesn't make us blink, it just makes us buy more snow cones. ;D
-40! That's not weather! That's a deep freezer! :o

Word.
The temperature always plummets here after the New Year, -30C is very common then.
Then again, we get 30C temperatures in the summer and basically every Finn is dying when that happens... Mostly because that kinda heat is accompanied by loads of moisture in the air so we sweat like pigs even if we do absolutely nothing but die slowly.
i like any weather that doesn't make me sweat, but not freaking cold weather like -40 you know. but i can say i generally like cold weather, and since we're a tropical country (yeah ive never seen snow :( and i cant even imagine being in minus temperatures) cold weather means it's raining or wind is blowing like crazy. i like rain and wind too. and all the above applies until i start sneezing. then i like the warm sun that emerges after cold weather, i like morning sun too. and that's until i start sweating. the average here is around 30C and i don't like it.

Reminds me of a trip to Texas. I was swimming in the gulf, enjoying the warm beach all to myself. The Texans were wearing parkas.
Summer. It is rain here in Oregon during the Spring, Cold during Fall, and Winter can bring snow.
Very cold,70mph winds and raining
Sunny, dry and COLD 25oF.
The strong winds and high tide have flooded the road and tramlines earlier. The water was up to the front step. It's gone down now,I can see the road but not the tramlines, they're still under water
Storm and hurricane here its awsome
