As an amateur cinephile, I often find inspiration for getting through certain moments in my life through the wisdom that can be gleaned from films. I thought it might be fun to share the quotes from films that bring us strength, clarity, positivity, and endurance.
I'll start:
One of my favorite movies is Lost in Translation. Many people think it's a character study about loneliness, but I feel that it is instead a character study of connection, empathy, and understanding.
There's a moment in it, in which quarter-life crisis Charlotte asks mid-life crisis Bob if it ever gets easier. His reply is so powerful, in my opinion:
"The more you know who you are and what you want, the less you let things upset you."
Simple words, but so comforting and powerful. At least, for me. :)

Probably anything from the movie Pulp Fiction. Maybe not inspirational, but come on. The entire film is practically quotable.
But this one is my favorite. Just the way it was delivered was absolutely perfect.

See, now I'm thinking: maybe it means you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here... he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. And I'd like that. But that ->-bleeped-<- ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.

My wife and I used to quip movies quotes back and forth to each other all of the time (and that's something that I really miss now that shes gone). A well timed and placed movie quip in a situation could bring us both to tears while laughing. There were SO many good movies we would quote from, but it seems like most of the quotes came from Office Space because we both worked at a company that was just like the company in the movie.
