Well it finally happened. I met a guy that didn't know I was trans from the start, and now he really likes me I think. He's flirting with me quite a bit, and now I'm going to have to tell him before anything else goes on. Anybody have 20 grand they can toss me really fast so I don't have to tell him? lol...
20 grand and buy yourself six months, ;)
How understanding do ya think he is?
I can tell him some BS reason about why I can't have sex for 6 months. I'm not sure how understanding he is. I've only known him for a week.
Tell him now before you fall for him!! I'm having to try and forget the man I was just with the last 2 months....only because I had to finally tell him :( I miss him dearly :(
I'm telling him tomorrow. What sucks is I'd have figured anybody who's friends with me on FB for a week would figure it out. I have a zillion trans friends, my roommate (who is in my profile picture with me) is transgender, and some of my photos I'm at pride rallies with trans people in. Maybe he knows, but he hasn't brought it up or even hinted at it. Not only that, but the friends house I met him at, that friend knows I'm transgender too.
Maybe he does know and still likes you for you. Btw you are gorgeous in your pic
That's what I'm hoping, but something tells me he doesn't. I'm never that lucky, lol.
And thank you :)

Exactly what I was thinking. Just because he hasn't brought it up doesn't mean he doesn't know. Maybe it's a total non-issue for him. :)

If it's as obvious as you say it is with all that then I'd bet he probably does know but is totally cool with it. And likely hasn't said anything because he wants to let you know he respects you as the woman you are. ;)
I think for the thought not to have crossed his mind are the same odds as the lottery
He knew. He said:
"I'm okay with that. I already knew. "(Common friend) told me and I was shocked just cause of the surprise, but then it was like ok".
Awesome!

oh great!
that´s awesome, wish you the best.
hopefully it´ll not a big problem for him
i really hate those moments when i have to "come out with my past" :D
No. When I made a comment about him not acting like he knew, he literally said "The reason I didn't act like it was because you are a girl so I treat you like one". That is a direct quote off of the message in FB. He asked one question about my safety (being trans), and then we started to talk about video games and food for the next hour or two. No other mention of the gender thing.
I think I'm okay :)

Woohoo!
that's great . I'm turning so green with envy
Congratulations, Alaina! I'm so happy for you :)
Keep hold of this one - from what you've said he sounds like a keeper for sure :)
Thanks yall. He's great. I'll make it work. You're all great too :)
Very very cool!!! I just recently went through a similar thing. The difference was he didn't want to still date me. I do have to appreciate though that he has remained my friend....its so hard though when I still would like more and the only reason he won't is because of my equipment!! UGH!!
I WISH YOU NOTHING BUT THE BEST!!
They're hard to find, for sure. I can't blame them either. You can't change what turns people on. It is what it is!
I found one, but he was rotten at the core. I'm just hoping yours is a better human being than mine turned out to be.
You know I agree whole heartedly! This is exactly why I can't and don't hate him. I am wondering...is the man you are with a gay man or bisexual? I don't mean to sound offensive....but just wondering. I know the man I was with was 110% straight. I am fine with that since I don't plan on using my equipment until its an inny....and I really don't want to make use of something else for a substitute :o !!
wow! Aaiana,
what an awesome turn for you,
wishes the very best for you and your new found man

Wow, that's amazing and I am so happy for you. ;D He sounds like a real winner, and like he "gets it."

He's straight. We've had that discussion. He doesn't go for men, lol...
Hi Alaina,
That's fantastic! Are you planning on getting SRS or was the six months quote more of a hope or wish? Good guys are hard to find for cis-women, and it's much, much harder for us. So if he's a keeper, keep him!
The 6 month comment was a response to say that I can come up with an excuse to tell him why I cant have sex for 6 months.
Alaina so nice to see you back.
Sounds like your man knows what is going on and very liberal. Wonderful you have found a nice straight guy that likes & respects the lady that you are. All the best for beautiful things happening for both of you.

So I assume what you still have doesn't turn him off. That is really difficult to find in a straight man....as far as I have found.
I dunno if he knows what I have. He may think I'm post op, but who knows. This town is pretty ... different.
Sounds like he likes you for you. Not every guy that likes pre op MTFs have bi or gay tendencies because it is the woman they like or fall for, not the genitals. It really sounds like he likes and respects you.
Omg I'm squeeing for you! Very awesome :D
I am so happy for you.
I hope things work out.
Pretty cool start to a relationship.
